The New York Times is upset that
the Brazilian people may actually elect a president that the New York Times disagrees with. Note that the reporter for the liberal media is somewhere to the right of the Bush administration's ambassador to Brazil on this issue. (The latter 'compared Mr. da Silva's rise from lathe operator to presidential hopeful as the Brazilian equivalent of the American dream. "Lula has had to overcome a lot of things to get to where he is," she said.')Perhaps I should create a new category on my postings list:
